according to the ICF (International Coaching Federation, Coaching is: partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential." It involves helping clients set and achieve goals, improve their performance, and enhance their overall quality of life, through a collaborative and client-centered approach.
Gallup defines strengths coaching as a development process that focuses on identifying and leveraging an individual's unique talents and strengths to achieve their goals and improve performance. It involves helping individuals understand and use their natural talents to develop new skills and behaviors, and to overcome challenges in their personal and professional lives. The goal of strengths coaching is to help individuals reach their full potential by building on their strengths, rather than focusing on weaknesses.
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist.
